Review: The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen

FullSizeRender copy 9.jpgGenre: Psychological Thriller

Rating: 4.5/5.0 Stars

Main Takeaway: And exciting, fast-paced thriller with jaw-dropping twists and a to die for ending! Must read!

Richard left Vanessa for a younger woman, and now he’s getting remarried. But Vanessa’s obsession with her “replacement” frightens both Richard and his new fiancΓ©. But nothing is as it seems in this book. Assumptions will be debunked and allegiances challenged, as the reader must discover who the real threat is.

The Wife Between Us was anything but expected. All my assumptions and thoughts about this book were proved wrong, everything I thought would happen did not, the people I thought I could trust I couldn’t. Hendricks and Pekkanen masterfully craft this novel, exposing the intricacies of marriage, love, hate, and rage, and showing the reader just exactly how loving another can alter and diminish a person.

It is hard to discuss what I loved so much about this novel without giving away its twists and turns, which is likely why it’s taken me two weeks to write this review. So let’s just say this:

The Wife Between Us is shocking and emboldening.

Henrdicks and Pekkanen leave no word wasted.

The characters are rich and purposeful, and the message enchanting.

The Wife Between Us left me with the ultimate book hangover.
